Photo by Mark Mirko/Hartford Courant Jim Calhoun, former UConn head coach, is optimistic that Kemba will soon return to the NBA.(via SiriusXM NBA Radio):
“He walks into a locker room, the team’s better. He’s a tremendous person. He’s a leader. He was a great leader in 2011, winning 11 games in succession to win a championship. Kemba can still be a great help to a team. That is what I believe. It seems like something happens when there is a team. He’s already tried out for 2 people quietly. He’ll probably be signing somewhere. I think someone should because even if he’s not playing, and he still can play, he brings value to a team.”
