ATHENS, Greece — A scheduled flight from Katowice, Poland, arrived safely at Athens Worldwide Airport on Sunday after an alert was issued a few doable bomb onboard.

The aircraft and the passengers had been searched and no bomb was discovered, police mentioned in an announcement.

The flight operated by Buzz, a Polish subsidiary of low-cost service Ryanair, arrived on the airport in Greece’s capital at 5:40 p.m. native time (1540 GMT) after being escorted via Greek airspace by two Hellenic Air Pressure F-16 fighters.
